I take pictures of everything. Beautiful buildings, dilapidated buildings. Real trees and plastic ones. Fountains, monuments and lights, so many lights! But the one thing that really made me go, oh wow, I’m a tourist, is a picture of trash. I took a picture of trash. Like actual garbage. Wandering back home after a night out, a sight of a trash can fascinated me.

Neatly lined on the side of the street were multiple empty bottles. All upright and tightly pressed against each other, as to not block too much of the sidewalk space. I was just so impressed with the cleanliness of it. I couldn’t imagine this sight back in Toronto. Granted when bins overflow back home after parades and such, people are pretty good with trying to stack things, but this is just a whole other level.
Or I’m just Such a Tourist!
